Randy Musbach. Dedicated to helping people seriously injured in truck, auto, pedestrian, motorcycle, and bicycle crashes. Call or text me.
I help families with wrongful death claims from vehicle crashes as well. Motor vehicle injury cases involve the Michigan No-Fault Insurance Act, a specialized area of the law and a significant part of my practice. I also handle claims for uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage, which is a confusing part of motor vehicle negligence law in Michigan.
Many of my cases involve a semi-truck, box delivery truck, or other commercial vehicle. I had my first trucking case as a young lawyer in 1985 against a large national trucking company involving a wrongful death. I have helped people over the years injured in truck crashes in Michigan and other states, including Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
Besides semi-truck and box delivery truck cases, I have handled commercial vehicle cases involving garbage trucks, logging trucks, dump trucks, school buses, lawn service trucks, other company vehicles, and ride-share services.
Truck driving is a highly regulated business to protect the general public, including truck drivers. Traffic crashes are preventable problems caused by unsafe drivers, not accidents. My goal is to obtain justice and full compensation for each client.
I have been helping injured people and their families for over 40 years. My office is in the historic Steinbach Block Building in my hometown of Chelsea, Michigan. I’m fortunate to have helped so many deserving people over the years.
I only represent individuals and families; I do not represent insurance companies or large corporations. I’ve handled many personal injury cases, including product liability, admiralty, premises liability, and other torts. I do not handle medical malpractice cases. A particular interest of mine is helping victims of vehicle crashes suffering from traumatic brain injuries. I also assist other lawyers and law firms as trial counsel, co-counsel or technology consultant in trucking, traumatic brain injury or other catastrophic injury cases.
Technology, specifically Apple products such as the MacBook, iPad, and iPad Apps, is a significant part of my practice. I am a frequent lecturer on the use of technology in the practice of law and trial presentations. The use of technology levels the playing field for my clients against the vast resources of insurance companies or large corporations. I am committed to learning and using recent artificial intelligence (AI) developments, such as ChatGPT, to benefit my clients.
I intentionally have a small law office, and I limit the number of cases I have at any one time to provide the best possible legal representation for my clients. My practice is built upon the referrals of past clients, members of the community, and other lawyers familiar with my legal experience and commitment to my clients. I do not condone lawyer advertising or solicitation. Helping injured people with their legal needs is a profession, not a high-volume retail business competing for the most ads on television. Injury victims deserve a dedicated, caring lawyer to help them recover their lives.
I am licensed to practice law in Michigan and represent clients in both state and federal court.
